It's a learned lesson to always listen to your mother, especially when she tells you to bring a sweater. I tempted fate last Thursday while going for a run and have now learned that although the accelerated pumping of your blood does cause you to 'warm up' it doesn't protect you from the windy chill Boone is notorious for.
I hope the rugby team that was practicing at Brookshire Park didn't have to witness the crazy girl sporting an App State tank top, because unfortunately she may have resembled Tina Belcher's running since her arms had gone numb. Not going to name this girl...but I'm sure she will no longer assume that long pants will keep her warm while the tank top will keep her from becoming overheated. However, it's exciting to finally have a winter instead of this bipolar/hybrid season we have been having.
PS: This is the comical stride of Tina. If you've never seen Bob's Burgers I would highly recommend it:)

For The First Blog In Forever
Finally able to get blogger to work, I have decided to dedicate this post to the books I have been reading during the blogging hiatus. The book is called The Hunt For Atlantis by Andy McDermott and it's exactly what the title suggests, it's about a hunt for Atlantis. If you like action packed novels or even ones that deal with some sort of historical background, this is a great one...or Sandstorm by James Rollins (this one is probably even better).
Last night I stayed up until 3 am finishing the second book of the Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase Series and have just recently purchased the third on my kindle. I look forward to reading it, but it's a dangerous DANGEROUS game to have a very interesting book to read and have school work to finish...Which is why I don't think this will be last time this semester I will be awake at the beautiful ol' 3 am.
