Because books are ma liiifffeeee

Here's another movie vs book review. Last night, my roommate headed to Lowe's to get the award winning Big Hero 6 but unfortunately they did not have (well they had a blu-ray but at the time we were unaware that we had a blu-ray player) and decided to get Gone Girl instead. Just a little difference in genre. I of course have read the book and have been wanted to see the movie for a while so I was like "Hell cha, I can take a momentary break from studying that I haven't even started yet!" At the time I didn't realize the movie was 2 and a half hours long.
Any who, the movie wasn't bad. But as usual if you didn't read the book you could easily be lost, especially when they keep switching back and forth between present and her diary entries. Also, there's some iffy acting. But it wasn't a bad movie, the book its way better and takes you for a more emotional loop than the movie can, and causes a more brain splattering explosion when you get to part two that makes you regret every single unlady-like thought you had toward a certain character. If you aren't a reader though you will still get a shock halfway through the movie.
On another note, I'm crossing my fingers for Coleman's class to be cancelled, amiright??
