Presentations

It's the dreaded word that I single out for every class...Presentations. By now, as a 21 year old who has about 16 years of school behind her, I would have hoped that the butterflies in my stomach and the nausea of having to stand up in front of the whole class to present a subject would have ceased by now. Wrong. OH MY GAWD SO WRONG. I can't stand it. Coleman's class by the way blows since all we do are presentations, but with her it's not so bad because everyone is looking to the front while you are in the back. I still get the nervousness but it's nothing compared to the sick feeling I get while walking to the front of the class to get ready to talk. Add to that the doubts in your head about whether or not your presentation has the critical information needed or if it is just a load of BS, or maybe you start comparing your presentation to those that have gone ahead already, or you notice that as soon it is time to talk you go completely mind numb and all the information you once had just goes out the window.

In ASL 1, I think last year, we had to do presentations but it was us signing a song or any other type of literature...and...oh my lawd I about died (exaggeration).

I really really hate presentations.
