TLC

TLC has got to be in the Guinness Book of World Records for have the most crazy ass shows. My roommate and I spent most of the day watching Hoarders and ended with a My Strange Addiction finale. It's amazing to see the environment some people are capable of living in, even though they are aware of the hazards that surround them. There was one episode about a lady who lost two husbands, having been with the last one for 14 years, and was living in filth with her two sons. Apparently the bus driver noticed how bad they smelt and got the school involved. By oh my gawd it broke my heart, especially when she started crying about how she was a bad omen and loses everyone. That was probably the only episode where I almost teared up, ESPECIALLY when there was a man who called in a few favors and got their electricity fixed, new mattresses, and a new basketball net. Yeah, I get emotional when people are too nice. It once happened while I was reading Jane Eyre and when Miss Temple (I think that was the name?) was the only one who was kind to her at the school. I cried while trying not to since I was in public...as in an airplane.
